Shou Sugi Ban is a Japanese technique where the wood is burned, and then has the soft wood removed to create a textured appearance and feel.  This one has then been finished in a warm, orangeish hue and then lacquered. All Shou Sugi Ban style picture frames are bound with exotic veneer.
The frame size is 11" x 9" anfd will fit images 5.75 x 6.75".
